1. Our commitment

NeuraCap is committed to building a website and platform that are accessible to all users, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, switch access or high-contrast display modes. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our baseline standard.

Accessibility is not a one-time audit; it is an ongoing part of how we design and build. We test for accessibility during development and treat reported accessibility issues with the same priority as functional bugs.

2. Technical approach

Semantic HTML

This website uses semantic HTML5 landmark elements (header, nav, main, footer) on every page. Heading levels are applied in logical hierarchy without skipping levels. Interactive controls use native button and anchor elements rather than non-semantic alternatives.

Keyboard navigation

All navigation items and interactive elements on this website are reachable and operable using keyboard navigation alone. Dropdown menus can be opened and closed with Enter and Escape. A skip-to-main-content link is the first focusable element on every page. Visible focus indicators are maintained on all interactive elements.

Colour and contrast

Text and interface elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios: 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components. The site offers light and dark themes; both modes are designed to preserve accessible contrast. Status indicators (such as value changes in financial metrics) use both colour and a text or shape alternative; they do not rely on colour alone.

Images and screenshots

Product screenshots include descriptive alternative text that conveys the purpose and content of each image. Purely decorative images carry null alt attributes so screen readers skip them. Complex diagrams include supplementary text alternatives in adjacent content.

Motion

This website respects the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion preference. When reduced motion is active, animations and transitions are suppressed to avoid discomfort for users sensitive to motion.

Forms

All form inputs have associated labels. Required fields are identified visually and programmatically. Error messages are associated with the relevant input via aria-describedby and announced to screen readers. Form submission success states are communicated to assistive technologies.

Theme and display

The light/dark/system theme toggle is keyboard-accessible, announces its current state to screen readers via aria-label and aria-expanded attributes, and dismisses with the Escape key. Theme preference is persisted across visits using localStorage.

3. Known limitations

We are not aware of any current WCAG 2.2 AA issues in the pages of this website that have not been accepted as items in progress. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we want to know about it; please use the contact information below.

4. Assistive technology compatibility

This website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major screen readers including NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver, in combination with their commonly paired browsers. If you experience a compatibility issue with a specific assistive technology, please report it so we can investigate and address it.

5. Reporting accessibility issues

If you find a page or feature on this website that is not accessible to you, we want to hear about it. Please contact the NeuraCap team via the contact form on this website and describe:

We will acknowledge your report within five business days and provide an estimated timeline for resolution based on the severity of the issue.

6. Product accessibility

The NeuraCap platform is designed to the same accessibility standards as this website. Platform-specific accessibility issues should be reported through the support channel in your product agreement. We are committed to ensuring that analytical workflows, including peer benchmarking, transaction research and valuation context, remain accessible regardless of the assistive technology a user employs.
